Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page summarises what happens to your money when an appointment is cancelled. It is a summary of clauses F1–F6 of the Terms & Conditions, which is the actual agreement — where the two differ, the Terms prevail.

If you cancel

Cancel from the appointment screen, any time before the appointment starts, and everything you paid comes back — the consultation fee, the platform fee and the GST charged on it. Nothing is withheld, however late you cancel.

Once the appointment has started, or the doctor has already called you in, the app no longer offers cancellation. Talk to the clinic's front desk; the decision is then theirs.

Booked and paid at the clinic's counter? Cancel at the counter, not in the app. Before your appointment starts, the clinic hands back everything you paid there, the way you paid it — cash as cash, UPI as UPI.

Before you confirm a cancellation, the app shows the server's exact quote of what you get back. That quote, not this page, is the number that applies to your booking.

If you simply do not attend

An appointment you neither attend nor cancel can be marked as missed by the clinic. It shows as "Missed" in your history and no money moves — nothing is refunded. If you know you cannot attend, cancel in time instead.

If the clinic cancels, or cannot see you

Confirmed — or fully refunded, plus ₹100 credit if the clinic cancels late or cannot see you.

If money left your account but no booking appeared

This is handled by people, not automatically. A payment that was taken without a confirmed booking is refunded in full once we have traced it — tell us and it starts from that moment, rather than waiting on a reconciliation job. Csyte does not claim to detect every such case on its own, which is why asking is the right thing to do.

How a refund reaches you

Refunds go back to the original payment method — we cannot send them anywhere else. Your bank or card issuer controls the last step, which usually takes 5–7 working days after we release it.
