Delete your Csyte account
You can delete your Csyte account and the personal data held against it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting from the app or the website
- Sign in to Csyte.
- Open Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
If you cannot sign in
Email grievance@csyte.com, addressed to Aditya Kumar, from the phone number or with enough detail for us to identify your account, and we will carry out the deletion for you.
What is erased
- Your name, phone number, email and profile photo.
- Every person on your patient list — yours and each family member's name, father's name, age, gender, phone, address, and the encrypted Aadhaar number together with its last four digits.
- The patient name and the symptom notes recorded on each of your past appointments.
- Any reviews left from your account.
- Your saved notification history and your registered devices.
- Your recorded consent, and every signed-in session.
What is kept, and why
Some records survive deletion. They stay linked to an internal identifier, not to your name, which has been cleared from them.
- Payments and invoices, in full — Indian tax and financial-record law requires us to retain them.
- The booking records themselves — which doctor, which hospital, which date, what status, and the age recorded on the appointment.
- Our access log — it records that an action happened, against which record, by whom and for what purpose, and never the values that were read or erased. It includes an entry recording that your deletion took place.
One case where deletion is refused
We will not delete an account that still has a confirmed — or paid but not yet confirmed — appointment dated today or later. Deleting it would move money as a silent side effect, so cancel the appointment first and then delete. You will be told if this applies to you.
Signing in again later
If you sign in again with the same phone number you get a fresh account with no history. Nothing that was erased comes back, and you will need to accept the terms again before you can book.
